Dynamic Client Registration

Dynamic Client Registration (DCR) for direct UK customers

An Institution may provide DCR via API endpoints, which Yapily can call directly to register you via the Yapily Dashboard. The following details may be needed during the process, as guided by the Yapily Dashboard input fields when attempting to add a live Institution:

  • Organisation ClientId
  • Software Statement ClientId
  • Signing Key ClientId
  • Signing certificate
  • Transport certificate
  • Contact Email

If DCR is supported, the Register button will be available on the Credentials popup for the Institution you wish to register.

If successful, the bank's DCR response will return an API key or clientId and optionally a secret, which are then encrypted and stored for use on the Yapily gateway. These credentials will be used to authenticate requests made to Yapily when calling the API on behalf of your users.
